2018 Audi e-tron electric SUV Spy Shots
New All Electric Audi e-Tron, upcoming SUV car from Audi as a potential challenger Tesla X model. Audi e-tron SUV has been spied testing once again, and the wraps are slowly coming off the firm’s Tesla Model X rival ahead of its anticipated reveal early next year.
With sales starting in 2018, the e-tron being spy here wears a light disguise as it gets final judgment from Audi engineers, and the e-tron production profile goes well with the overall shape presented on the 2015 concept car.
The front closure shows that although the tractor retains fewer proportions of the concept – shorter rear overhangs are excluded – some design elements will be softened. For example, the face of the car will be more contemporary and fit with other Audi ranges, and the protective cover on the side of the car has shrunk.
2018 Audi e-Tron will be the initial pioner of the new EV Audi model under the new e-tron badge, and will boast an all-electric powertrain capable of reaching 311 miles with a single charge. It will be Audi’s rivals for an established electric SUV such as the Tesla Model X, and will also directly fight with the all-new Jaguar I-Pace, also to be released next year.
