2018 Volkswagen Touareg

Few days ago, we learned that the new 2018 Volkswagen Touareg is expected to be presented at the Beijing exhibition in April 2018, but now we have released photos of the third generation of the Touareg without a camouflage trail, since it was photographed during its official photo shoot.

As you can see, the model is borrowing enough evidence from the T-Prime Concept GTE, which we saw in April 2016 at the Beijing exhibition. The car is based on the MLB Evo platform that is already using the Audi Q7 and Bentley Bentayga, which means that while it will be larger than its predecessor, it will be lighter, falling below two tons.

It features LED daylight C design units and a 12 “digital instrument cluster inside, with the 15” curved touchscreen of the information and entertainment system. As for the engines, there will be gasoline and petroleum units, and a brand new diesel engine with 300 horses will be available as well as a V6 gasoline engine with about 330 horses. Also, logic says the new Touareg will also have a plug-in hybrid version that will use the Q7 e-tron drivetrain – a three-liter TDI with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

The spaces inside will grow, with the steering wheel not having conventional buttons, since they will have been replaced by touch surfaces. In the rear there is a 9.6 “touch screen, positioned centrally between the seats, where rear passengers can adjust many functions.

2018 Ferrari 488 GTO Spy Photos

Two prototypes of the hardcore version of the Ferrari 488 GTB were caught up to the Nurburgring race track, and its surroundings a few days after the partial revelation of the model. The successor of 458 Speciale is rumored to be taking the legendary GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato), which was last used in the 599 GTO.

It would certainly seem like an appropriate time for Ferrari to remind the automotive world who’s boss, what the Porsche’s GT2 RS and Lamborghini’s Huracan Performante currently making a lot of noise in the segment that the 458 Speciale once held dominion over.

As for when we can expect it, the 458 was unveiled in 2009 with the Speciale not appearing until 2013. So with the 488 having been revealed in 2015, a Geneva or Paris launch seems likely for the go-faster variant, depending on how far along in its development it is.

The weight of the 2018 Ferrari 488 GTO will be reduced by about 90 kilos, achieving a figure below 1,300 kilos, while the performance of the V9 twin-turbo 3.9-liter engine will increase and surpass 700 horses, making it 0-100 km / hour in about 2.7 seconds.

2018 Audi SQ2 Spy Photos

Audi has begun testing the 2018 Audi SQ2 since the beginning of the summer, and today we are seeing the prototype once again, which wears the production body -family. The quick version of the small German crossover features a more aggressive body, lower suspension, quadruple exhaust tailpipes, large wheels and powerful brakes.

The cool thing is that while its bigger brothers now have fake trim simulating an exhaust, this one has quad tips that look the business. What’s the point of paying so much money for a small car if you can’t show off?

Under the bonnet, there is the 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder 310 hp engine with 400 Nm of torque seen in the S3, combined with either a manual or automatic S Tronic transmission, with torque in the latter case rising to 400 Nm. The power passes to all wheels through the Quattro system, with the presentation of the model being made at the Geneva exhibition next March, with sales starting shortly thereafter. Audi has announced that it will also bring RS Q2 to the 2.5-liter RS3 engine with 400 horsepower.

It should weight about 1.5 tons and do the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 5 seconds or less. Hopefully, they’ll also sell it with some suitable alloys because these are shamefully small.

2019 Toyota Auris Spy Photos

In August 2012, Toyota introduced the second generation of Auris, with its commercial career starting in Europe from the beginning of 2013. In the summer of 2015 it received a light facelift, with a life cycle of 6 years (just what the first generation) Toyota has begun the development of the new generation of the popular mid-range hatchback.

The vehicle is not yet confirmed for sale in the United States but elsewhere it will be marketed as either a Corolla or Auris.

This is expected to be released in late 2018, and will be the third model based on the TNGA platform (Toyota New Global Architecture), after Prius and C-HR. Still, it will have a totally new design, something in a nutshell that can be distinguished from camouflaged photographs, with C-HR “offering” some of its elements.

The lights are narrow and follow the shape of the bonnet, with the rear lights not protruding like in the current model. The exterior mirrors seem to have been fitted higher, with the rear pillar looking thinner.

Mechanically, no drastic changes are expected on 2019 Toyota Auris, with the 1.2-liter turbo, 116 bhp and 185 Nm of torque being present in the third generation of the model, as well as the 1.8-liter Hybrid, 122-horsepower of the new Prius.

Finally, it is unknown whether it will be available with the BMW’s 1,500 cc 3-cylinder diesel engine, 116-horsepower performance, a recent Japanese company said it is highly unlikely to rebuild a diesel model for the European market.

Toyota has announced new 8- and 10-speed automatic transmissions that will be coming to replace a number of 6-speed and CVT units it currently uses, and we could see one of them feature in the new Corolla iM.

New All Electric Audi e-Tron, upcoming SUV car from Audi as a potential challenger Tesla X model. Audi e-tron SUV has been spied testing once again, and the wraps are slowly coming off the firm’s Tesla Model X rival ahead of its anticipated reveal early next year.

With sales starting in 2018, the e-tron being spy here wears a light disguise as it gets final judgment from Audi engineers, and the e-tron production profile goes well with the overall shape presented on the 2015 concept car.

The front closure shows that although the tractor retains fewer proportions of the concept – shorter rear overhangs are excluded – some design elements will be softened. For example, the face of the car will be more contemporary and fit with other Audi ranges, and the protective cover on the side of the car has shrunk.

2018 Audi e-Tron will be the initial pioner of the new EV Audi model under the new e-tron badge, and will boast an all-electric powertrain capable of reaching 311 miles with a single charge. The largest online marketplace for new and used cars, AutoTrader, has revealed the 10 most searched cars this year. Retaining the number 1 position in the United Kingdom is the BMW 3-Series,Most of these Internet users were dubbed by diesel fuel, then by Volkswagen Golf and Mercedes Benz C-Class.

Ford’s Focus comes in 4th place, whereas BMW follows it from the 5th and 6th positions with the 1-Series and 5-Series, respectively. Another Ford, this time the Fiesta, sits on the 7th spot, right in front of the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the Vauhxall/Opel Astra completes the Top 10 list.

The diesel searches were topped by the BMW 3-Series, Volkswagen Golf, and BMW 5-Series, whereas the most favored petrol powered cars were the Volkswagen Golf, BMW 3-Series, and Ford Focus.

For hybrids, Toyota holds on to the first two positions with the Auris and Prius, followed by the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, while the electric ‘crown’ goes to the Nissan Leaf, which turned out to be more popular than the BMW i3 and Mercedes-Benz B-Class.

Paris Hilton at The Grand Tour To Race Rory Mcllroy

In the episode of The Grand Tour, to be screened on February 8, Paris Hilton and professional golf player Rory Mcllroy will be part of the Celebrity Face Off. The two guests will drive the Jaguar F-Type in an effort to see the fastest on the new show’s circuit, with the idea behind Hilton and Mcllroy’s call to see who is the fastest golfer.

I have always loved cars and racing,” said Paris Hilton while speaking about her lap. “Going around the track was so much fun and being able to drive that fast without having to slow down was exhilarating. By my final lap everything clicked into place and I think Rory and I will be quite close in the race.”

Mcllroy meanwhile added that lapping The Grand Tour track was an “amazing experience,” even in slippery conditions. “As a sportsman, I am fiercely competitive and I know that Paris loves cars too so it wasn’t going to be easy to drive faster than her.”

2018 Toyota C-HR

Toyota C-HR is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Toyota. First shown in concept form at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, and then the 2018 C-HR maintains the concept’s avant-garde physique; modern, comfortable cabin; and bold, outgoing character. The C-HR is available in two grades, XLE and XLE Premium, each equipped with a long list of standard features that includes 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, bucket seating, and 7-inch audio display.

Design, Exterior and Interior

Toyota’s team of global designers expounded on one theme: “Distinctive Diamond.” The iconic gemstone evokes universal notions of luxury, attractiveness, sophistication, and strength. Designers translated these traits into a physical form that’s collectively matchless, sexy, muscular, and edgy. From the get-go, they strived to sculpt an urban-dwelling crossover that would effortlessly navigate tight city streets and stand out, with an agile, dynamic expressiveness.

At the Toyota C-HR’s nose, two slim projector-beam halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights (DRL) and auto-on/off activation wrap deep into its toned shoulders – nearly all the way into the front quarter panels. Because of this, the vehicle looks wider than it is, and possesses an assertive fascia that’s uncommon in the segment. In fact, its dimensions – width (70.7 in.), height (61.6 in), length (171.2 in.), and wheelbase (103.9 in.) – can best be described as compact and neat. Its front and rear tracks match that of Toyota’s diehard sports car, 86, at 60.6 inches.

Deep, curvy character lines emerge from a prominent Toyota badge that’s flanked by the headlamps, and lead into the narrower core body. They run below the slender windows, and continue above the rear wheel where they marry to a high beltline and distinctive C-Pillar with hidden-type design door handle.

Look closely at the silhouette to see the clear resemblance of a diamond set on its side. Powerful arches housing the “vortex-styled” 18-inch tall by 7-inch wide aluminum wheels and 225/50R-18 all-season tires accentuate the C-HR’s sturdy posture.

The rear is a cohesive balance of its elaborate lines and 3D shapes. The tail lamps protrude outward, and the hatchback – outfitted with a lip spoiler and functional color-matched cantilevered wing – tapers neatly inboard, adding to the C-HR’s futuristic look, and, once more, imposing stance.

Toyota’s aerodynamicists pulled no punches when honing the C-HR’s 0.34 coefficient of drag. Canards on the rear quarter panels, front and rear spats, a streamlined rear lower bumper, and stabilizing fins integrated into the taillights all manage critical airflow in and around the body. Underneath, a bevy of rigid covers – on the engine, floor, fuel tank, and aft of the rear wheels – cull turbulence, and in doing so, help enhance vehicle control and fuel efficiency. At the rear, its aerodynamic details continue: The lower arms of the double-wishbone suspension have a streamline edge.

Open its doors to reveal a modern, spacious, and uncluttered interior having a keen placement of diamond accents and a driver-centric “MeZONE” orientation. Along with the soft-touch materials covering surfaces throughout, the diamond pattern influences the designs of the dual-zone climate controls, speaker surrounds, and black headliner above the front passengers. Passengers can easily converse thanks in large part to the acoustic noise-reducing front windshield.

The C-HR receives two Toyota-first features: Driver Distraction Secure Audio (DDSA) and Brake Hold Function. DDSA prevents certain multimedia menus from being selected while the vehicle is in motion by complying with NHTSA’s Driver Distraction Guidelines. Brake Hold Function is a convenience feature that maintains braking force at all four wheels to keep the vehicle stationary when at a full stop. As a result, the vehicle will remain still even if the driver reduces the pressure on the brake pedal. Once the driver depresses the accelerator, brake pressure will release, and the vehicle will move forward.

Bolstered bucket seats help to keep passengers snug and comfortable. All passengers will appreciate the generous amount of small item storage space (sculpted in-door pockets) and cup holders (two front cup holders; two front, two rear bottle holders). Designers used scalloped seatbacks, foot well cubbies carved below the front seats, and a chamfered headliner to create a spacious backseat environment. Sound insulating materials placed on the carpet, headliner, A-pillars, and door trim help to keep all unwanted noises out and the good chats in.

For extra cargo carrying versatility, the rear 60/40 seat can split and fold flat, and, when in an upright position, can easily accommodate child seats with its LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) system. Seatback lock releases are positioned at shoulder height, making it possible to fold seats without bending over. The rear seats are designed so that seatbelts do not interfere when folding the seats. As an added bonus in the cargo hold, a hidden storage compartment located in the sidewall stores small items, as do compartments below the deck board. Everything in the trunk is concealed by a standard cargo cover.

Engine and Performance

All-new 2018 C-HR equipped with 2.0-liter engine, four-cylinder dual-overhead cam producing 144 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 139 pound-feet of torque at 3,900 rpm, sends all power to the front wheels via the Continuously Variable Transmission with intelligence and Shift mode (CVTi-S). The engine employs many of Toyota’s latest generation of technologies, including Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and Valvematic, both of which have received extensive optimization to enhance fuel economy and smooth operation. Valvematic offers a broader range of continuously variable valve timing (lift and phasing) to provide optimal intake valve (not on exhaust side) operation relative to engine demands. Furthermore, to reduce exhaust emissions, the catalyst is warmed earlier during the engine’s ignition cycle. Both models are expected to receive EPA-estimates of 27 city/31 highway/29 combined miles-per-gallon.

The all-new the CVTi-S engine has an advantage to enhance acceleration and fuel economy; a new belt structure to reduce cabin noise; and a coaxial two-port oil pump system that allows for continuous oil pressure modifications in various driving conditions. A Preload Differential helps to distribute torque between the left and right wheels during low-speed operation to make for easier, composed driving.

Equipped with a drive mode selection feature, Sport mode and the simulated 7-speed Sequential Shiftmatic. Engaging Sport mode via the MID increases the responsiveness of the throttle, quickens the CVT’s automatic artificial “step-up” shifts, and maintains high engine speed to enhance acceleration. The EPS’ feedback is weightier for a more confidence-inspiring feel. Pushing the gearshift over to the left while in Drive engages Sequential Shiftmatic, and lets drivers shift simulated gears at their convenience.

Safety Features

The Toyota C-HR comes equipped with standard Toyota Safety Sense P™ (TSS-P). It is anticipated to be the only vehicle in its segment with standard Pre-Collision System with Active Braking. It is also expected to be the only vehicle in the compact crossover market with Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control as standard equipment.

TSS-P is a multi-feature advanced active safety suite that bundles Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection function (PCS w/PD) featuring forward collision warning and Automatic Emergency Braking; Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist function (LDA w/SA); Automatic High Beams (AHB); and Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) uses a camera and radar to detect a vehicle and/or pedestrian ahead of the C-HR in certain conditions. When the system determines there is a possibility of collision, it prompts the driver to brake with an audio and visual alert. If the driver notices the hazard and brakes, the system may provide additional braking force using Brake Assist. If the driver fails to brake in a set time and the system determines that the risk of collision with a vehicle and/or pedestrian is extremely high, the system may automatically apply the brakes, reducing speed in order to help the driver avoid the collision or reducing the impact.

Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with Steering Assist function uses an in-vehicle camera designed to detect visible white and yellow lane markers in front of the vehicle and the vehicle’s position on the road. If the system determines that the vehicle is starting to unintentionally deviate from its lane, the system alerts the driver with an audio and visual alert. When the alerts occur, the driver must check the surrounding road situation and carefully operate the steering wheel to move the vehicle back to the center part of their lane.

In addition to the alert function of LDA, the C-HR will feature a Steering Assist function. If the system determines that the vehicle is on a path to unintentionally depart from its lane, the system may provide small corrective steering inputs to the steering wheel for a short period of time to help the driver keep the vehicle in its lane.

On highways, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) functions similar to conventional “constant speed” cruise control in that it helps vehicles travel at a consistent speed set by the driver, but this system adds a vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode designed to assist the driver by adjusting vehicle speed to help maintain a pre-set distance to a preceding vehicle when the preceding vehicle is traveling at a lower speed. Once a vehicle speed is set by the driver, Full-Speed Range DRCC uses a front-grill mounted millimeter-wave radar and an in-vehicle camera designed to detect a preceding vehicle and help determine its distance.

If the vehicle ahead is detected traveling at a speed slower than your set speed or within your distance range setting, the system is designed to automatically decelerate the vehicle without having to cancel the cruise control. When a greater reduction in vehicle speed is necessary, the system may apply the brakes and operate the vehicle brake lights. The system will then respond to changes in the speed of the vehicle ahead in order to help maintain the vehicle-to-vehicle distance set by the driver. When there is no longer a preceding vehicle driving slower than the vehicle’s set speed, the system accelerates until the set speed is reached and returns to the pre-set speed cruising. Full-Speed Range DRCC is designed to function at approximately 0 to 110 mph, and may enable low speed following, speed matching, stopping, and acceleration/deceleration to a preceding vehicle.

Automatic High Beams (AHB)
helps enhance forward visibility during nighttime driving. It uses a camera to detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and the tail lights of vehicles ahead, and then automatically switches between high beams and low beams so as not to interfere with other drivers.

Complementing TSS-P are 10 standard airbags, standard Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) and rear backup camera, as well as available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which are only available on the XLE Premium model.

Toyota C-HR Price and Release Dates

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2018 Toyota C-HR will range from $22,500 for XLE to $24,350 XLE Premium. The MSRP for the C-HR does not include the delivery, processing, and handling (DPH) fee of $960. The DPH fee for vehicles distributed by Southeast Toyota (SET) and Gulf States Toyota (GST) may vary.

Available colors include Ruby Flare Pearl, Blizzard Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and Black Sand Pearl. Available all new-for-Toyota colors include Silver Knockout Metallic and Blue Eclipse Metallic.

For a bigger dose of individuality, the C-HR can be outfitted in R-Code, a special paintjob that pairs body color with a white-painted roof, side mirrors, and A-pillar for a truly custom look. Available pairings include Blue Eclipse Metallic R-Code, Ruby Flare Pearl R-Code, and Radiant Green Mica R-Code. Radiant Green Mica can only be had in R-Code configuration.

When it arrives at dealerships in April 2017, the C-HR will serve as a springboard of excitement and wanderlust for its trendsetting drivers.

Toyota’s 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-vehicle warranty applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. Additional 60-month warranties cover the powertrain for 60,000 miles and corrosion with no mileage limitation. The Toyota C-HR also comes standard with Toyota Care, a complimentary plan covering normal factory-scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first.

2018 BMW M5 (F90)

The new 2018 BMW M5 (F90) takes on a new driving dynamics into a new dimension. The sixth generation sedan from the high-performance sedan is a new M-xDrive engine with a M-specific All-Wheel-Drive. This drive system not only enables the M5 to achieve new heights of dynamic performance, but also differs from the convenience of daylight saving and provides a high level of balance in all driving conditions.

Chairman of the Board of Management at BMW M GmbH, Frank van Meel, explains the benefits of the pioneering drivetrain technology aboard the new BMW M5: “Thanks to M xDrive, the new BMW M5 can be piloted with the familiar blend of sportiness and unerring accuracy both on the race track and out on the open road, while also delighting drivers with its significantly enhanced directional stability and controllability right up to the limits of performance when driving in adverse conditions such as in the wet or snow.”

The car’s ability to juggle complete suitability for everyday use on the one hand and sheer driving pleasure and superb track performance on the other is down to the M xDrive system’s central intelligent control capability. When the engine is first started, the new 2018 BMW M5 will be in all-wheel-drive mode (4WD) with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) switched on. The driver is then able to vary the handling characteristics of the M5 by activating various driving dynamics modes, including a rear-wheel-drive mode with no DSC. In this 2WD mode, the new BMW M5 allows accomplished drivers to enjoy a purebred form of driving pleasure.

Design, Interior and Exterior

“The BMW M5 has always embodied the perfect blend of mature business sedan and high-performance components. Like all the models to come out of BMW M GmbH HQ in Garching, its design is M-specific and driven by function. For example, the newly designed front bumper trim, with its larger air intakes, has the task of keeping the cooling systems and brakes sufficiently supplied with cooling air – even in exacting use on the race track. The car has a wider track than its predecessor, and the front side panels (made from aluminium to save weight) bear the signature M gills.

In addition, the aluminum lid – these fine lines make an amazing sculpture and visualize into shape of the roof. It is expanding. In M5, the roof was made of plastic that was doped with very light high-strength carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP).

The rear diffuser of M5 has likewise been redesigned. Together with the side skirts, the M rear apron and M rear spoiler play their part in giving the M5 its powerfully sporting appearance, and the exterior mirrors have a dynamic, Mspecific design. The hexagonal central air intake in the front end not only separates itself sculpturally from the side air intakes, in another example of form following function it also incorporates the oil cooler.

The interior focuses squarely on the driver; absolute control in all driving situations is the motto here. At the same time, the BMW M5 offers space for up to four passengers, a large boot and excellent ride comfort. As a highperformance sports car and business sedan in one, it blends the best of both worlds.

Features and Technology

The precise, agile handling that drivers have come to expect from previous generations of the M5 has been further optimised for the new car. Individual driver needs are met by the wide range of options for configuring the vehicle, including: M xDrive, the eight-speed M Steptronic with Drivelogic, the Mspecific Variable Damper Control (incl. three driving modes: Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus) with electronically controlled shock absorbers and M Servotronic steering (incl. three driving modes: Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus). A top priority when tuning the chassis of the new BMW M5 was to achieve neutral steering behaviour, even at the dynamic limits. An important factor here is linear build-up of transverse loads across the full range of lateral acceleration. Whatever the driving situation, the electromechanical M Servotronic steering delivers exactly the right amount of steering torque. This ensures that the new BMW M5 has superbly accurate steering and always delivers clear feedback. What’s more, the car is great for long-distance driving, as well as being a joy in the city and on short journeys thanks to the low steering force required for manoeuvring and parking.

The familiar double-wishbone suspension from the front axle of the BMW 5-Series has been reworked from the ground up for the new BMW M5 with M xDrive. M engineers have redesigned every component to factor in Mspecific kinematic and elastokinematic characteristics. Directional stability is greater than ever thanks to the increased track width. The five-link rear suspension has also been modified to meet M-specific requirements. New toe links featuring stiffer rubber mounts help accommodate the increased demands on the driving dynamics and steering precision, as do firmer anti-roll bars and lower wishbones that have been optimised for stiffness. Specially developed for the M5, the elastomer bearings on the rear axle mounts ensure that there is no delay in transferring chassis forces, which makes for superbly direct handling. An additional steel X-brace and an aluminium transverse strut increase the stiffness of the chassis linkages at the rear axle, resulting in improved response. Further chassis modifications not visible externally perform functions that are no less important. The complete chassis and powertrain package put together by the BMW M engineers is so good that even experienced racers like ex-Formula One star and BMW works driver Timo Glock are impressed: “Thanks to M xDrive, the new BMW M5 goes beyond the precise, agile drive that we’ve come to expect – it also serves up a noticeable boost in traction and controllability, both in everyday situations and at the dynamic limit.”

The tyres fitted as standard on the BMW M5 (275/40 R 19 at the front and 285/40 R 19 at the rear) have been specially selected. They are mounted on five-double-spoke cast light-alloy wheels in polished Orbit Grey (front: 9.5 J x 19, rear: 10.5 J x 19). 20-inch seven-double-spoke wheels in black or polished black are available as an option (front: 275/35 R 20, at rear: 285/35 R 20). All wheels are ZR speed rated, making them suitable for the top speed of 305 km/h (189 mph) achieved by the new BMW M5 with M Driver’s Package (standard version: 250 km/h / 155 mph).

The new M5 can be ordered in a variety of exterior colours, some of which are reserved exclusively for the M5. New additions to the spectrum include Marina Bay Blue Metallic, an intense shade of blue. Matt finishes such as Frozen Dark Silver and Frozen Arctic Grey can be specified as an option. Inside the car, exclusive aluminium applications with a carbon-structure provide a special sporting flourish.

New 2018 Honda HR-V Facelift Rendered, New LED Light and Grille

New 2018 Honda HR-V – Having previously featured a spyhot sighting of the latest HR-V facelift in Malaysia, now circulating on the internet a rendering image created by Indonesia Automotive Design, new 2018 Honda HR-V facelift that gets design changes on the front similar to the All-New Civic Turbo.

Based on the two photos, Indonesia Automotive Design went straight to the drawing board to give us a glimpse of how the updated HR-V could look like, and it sure does look good! The biggest change here is the design of the headlamps, now featuring the familiar LED reflectors first seen on the top-spec Civic, as well as the facelifted Accord and City.

Also inspired by the Civic is the new chrome strip spanning the width of the bonnet, adding more emphasis to the slimmer headlamps. The same goes for the front grille – it’s slimmer too, although the whole piece is made of a single material, unlike the chrome-on-plastic version we have today. Seen below it are six horizontal slats, stacked in cascading effect.

Inspired by the Civic, it is the new crome strip that covers the width of the hood, adding more emphasis on the thinner main lights. The same applies to the front grill: it is even thinner, although the whole piece is made of one material, unlike the chromed version on plastic that applied in current model of Honda HR-V.
